Abstract: An air directing device for thermal management in side breathing equipment includes at least three vertical panels disposed in generally parallel relationship and horizontally spaced a fixed distance from one another. Each panel defines a fin arranged orthogonally relative to an airflow path for deflection of cooling air into side breathing equipment. At least one of the panels is an inner panel that is wider than two outer panels. The air directing device further includes at least one connection member connecting the outer panels to one another.

Abstract: A repositionable shelf-mounted handle spool assembly for cable routing includes a mounting bracket and a repositionable spool coupled thereto. The mounting bracket has a primary mounting plate and a shelf, having an opening, that is parallel to but spaced apart from the primary mounting plate. The repositionable spool includes a base having a stub for repositionably coupling with the opening in the shelf, a cylindrical shaft extending from the base, and a gate arm mounted perpendicularly to the cylindrical shaft. The base may be repositioned relative to the mounting structure via the stub.

Abstract: A radio-frequency identification (RFID) card includes an RFID element that is adapted to store RFID data information, an antenna, electrically connected at each of two ends to the RFID element, and a piezoelectric element, electrically connected to at least one of the two ends of the antenna, whereby mechanical actuation of the piezoelectric element enables the antenna to be energized by a transmission from an RFID reader terminal, thereby powering the transmission of RFID data information from the RFID element to the RFID reader terminal. An RFID system includes such a card, and an RFID reader terminal. A method of controlling the transmission of RFID data information from an RFID card includes positioning an RFID card, having a piezoelectric element electrically connected to an antenna that is electrically connected at each of two ends to an RFID element, in the vicinity of an RFID reader terminal; mechanically actuating the piezoelectric element; as a function of the mechanically actuating step, enabling the antenna to be energized by a transmission from an RFID reader terminal; and using the energy from the transmission from the RFID reader terminal, powering the transmission of RFID data information from the RFID element to the RFID reader terminal.
