Abstract:
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for producing an electric motor housing part blank, which method comprises at least the following steps: a casting mould, which represents substantially the outer contour of the electric motor housing part blank, is prepared (10). A casting core made of a casting core material, in particular made of a sand or a salt provided with a binding agent is placed in the casting mould (14) before a light metal melt is introduced (16). The casting core (30) represents at least partially a structure of cooling lines (28) in the electric motor housing part blank. The light metal melt is introduced into the mould (16). The solidified electric motor housing part blank is removed from the casting mould (18). An electric motor housing part (22) for an electric motor that comprises a stator part and a rotor part can be obtained, with an inner space (24) for receiving the electric motor, and with a structure of cooling lines (28). Integral moulding of the cooling structure produces an electric motor housing part blank in which good heat transfer is achieved. In this manner the heat dissipation and the efficiency of an electric motor can consequently be significantly increased.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method and device for producing motor vehicle chassis parts which can be subjected to tensile stress, compressive stress and torsion and the mechanical strength of which can be adjusted over the respective cross-section, and which furthermore have high ductility and temperature stability and are made of an AlSiZnMg alloy by means of chill casting.
