Abstract:
The invention relates to a remote control system with a picture camera attached to a support, where the camera is provided with a lens and is adapted for picture or image recording via one or more electrical record control signals, and where the picture camera is further adapted for having means for generating electronic video image output signals. The camera system comprises a control computer and a communication device. The communication device is in contact with the picture camera to communicate record control signals to the picture camera. The communication device is further in contact with the control computer to forward video image output signals to the control computer and receive record control signals from the control computer. The means for generating electronic video image output signals may be a live -view video camera arranged to record images on a viewfinder of the picture camera. The picture camera support may comprise a gear head having at least two gear head rotation axes for regulating the position of the gear head, and the rotation of the gear head about the rotation axes may be controlled by control signals communicated from the control computer to the communication device. The invention further relates to a projector system that is remote controlled in the same way.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a filter device for removing particles from exhaust gas and comprising a filter body (11) having a plurality of parallel, longitudinal, extending channels defined by porous walls. The inlet channels are open in both ends, while the outlet channels are closed in both ends. The filter is characterized in that the outlet channels are combined in groups in each of which the channels communicate freely with each others and with an outer surface or discharge duct (18) of the filter body (11) through at least one slot (19) penetrating the walls of the outlet channels in said group. The invention further relates to an internal cmbustian engine. And to avehicle provided with the filter device.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses the practical forming of green stage, non-fired bodies with a tool supplied with ultrasonic energy. The method is applicable in industrializing the production of capped Diesel Particulate Filter Channel bodies, which hereby proves that the otherwise standard liquid based-pre-softening method can be eliminated fully.
Abstract:
Abstract:
The present invention concerns a flue gas filter, in particular for filtering exhaust gas from diesel engines, comprising a casing having an exhaust gas inlet and an exhaust gas outlet and a filter body arranged in the casing, the filter body being composed of at least two segments which are of a porous heat-resistant material and which extend in the axial direction of the casing, the filter segments being arranged adjacent to each other, and an electrical heating element being arranged in at least one axial interstice between adjacent filter segments. The heating element may comprise an electrical resistance heating means enclosed in an electrically insulating material. The filter segments may be shaped substantially as a circle sector and the segments together may cross-sectionally substantially constitute a circle. The filter segments are preferably made of porous SiC.

Abstract:
A simplified volumetric air receiver design principle combining or being free to combine various types of ceramic and metallic absorber modules (1) and support members (2) made from metals and/or ceramics with a supporting housing (13) on the same Solar Thermal Power Plant is described. The assembly for use in a Solar Thermal Power Plant, which has a receiver surface heated by radiation from the sun, comprises: - a number of volumetric absorber modules (1) having an inlet and an outlet and a fluid permeable interior there between for passing an energy-carrying fluid medium such as air, through it, and - a number of support members (2) having an inlet and an outlet and a fluid permeable interior there between for collecting the energy-carrying fluid leaving the outlet of the absorber modules and passing it further on, said absorber module being assembled with said support member into a VR-unit (20) and further connected with the supporting housing structure (13). The integration of the support member (2) and funnel (3) into the supporting structure simplifies the overall system with correspondingly lower cost.
Abstract:
An apparatus for filtering solid particles from a fluid, for example a gas, at high temperature and high pressure. The apparatus comprises a filter unit assembled from several similar, individual filter elements that, by way of internal connections, form a rigidly, very compact and strong one-piece alike honeycomb shaped filter unit. The apparatus may optionally perform purification of gases. The invention dramatically improves the surface/volume ratio of the filter resulting in more compact filters. The invention further relates to a method for producing a filter unit, said method comprising forming a plurality of elongated tubular filter elements from a filtering material, arranging the elongated filter elements in a coextending relationship, bringing outer wall surfaces of the coextending filter elements in mutual contact along substantially the full length of said elements so as to define a plurality of flow passages for a fluid to be filtered and closing one end of each of the fluid passages, the closed ends being alternately at opposite ends of the filter unit, whereby fluid flowing into the open end of the fluid passages at one end of the filtering unit may flow transversely through filter element walls and out through open ends of fluid passages at the other end of the filter unit.
