Abstract: An interconnecting member for a sand or soil bag comprises a plate having a first side and a second side. There is a plurality of projections on the first side of the plate and a plurality of projections on the second side of the plate. There is also a pair of serrations on the first side of the plate. The serrations each include a plurality of teeth arranged in a row and extending away from the plate in a first direction, and an end tooth at one end of the row which extends away from the plate in a second direction which is opposite of the first direction.
