    Abstract: In some embodiments, a vented valve assembly for attachment to a rigid container may include one or more of the following features: (a) a unitary tubular valve body of a generally cylindrical hollow form and having a liquid inlet end, and (b) a second end and a liquid outlet port, said liquid inlet end adapted for connection to a male spout on a wall of the rigid container, said liquid outlet port being exterior to the wall of the rigid container when the liquid inlet end is affixed to the spout, the valve body further including an air vent opening formed through a wall of the tubular valve body leading to a channel affixed to an inner wall of the tubular valve body, the channel having one open end.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention are designed to interface between a package, either rigid or flexible and an apparatus to push a seal valve from the housing. Once the container is inserted into the "nest" with valve, opened fluid flow is achieved. Once the container with the valve is removed from the "nest" the valve will self close, with no operator interaction to stop flow of the product.

    Abstract: A fluid dispensing valve assembly comprises a housing, a lever, a resilient member, and a seal. The housing defines a fluid dispensing port and a vent opening. The fluid dispensing valve can be operated with a single hand to dispense liquid from a container. Further, upon release of the lever, the fluid dispensing valve automatically returns to a sealed configuration, thereby preventing fluid from leaking out of the container.

    Abstract: Fluid dispensing assembly to be fit to a container, having a flow configuration and a closed configuration, comprising: a body having a first chamber being in fluid communication with a container engaging portion and an outflow portion, a second chamber being in fluid communication with the outflow portion, and a body wall having a portion that is transparent or translucent such that the level of fluid within the second chamber is visible from outside; a valve, disposed within the body, comprising a seal and a stem attached thereto, the seal selectively engaged to the body at the outflow portion; and a resilient member being elastically deformable attached to the stem opposite of the seal, the valve putting the first and second chambers in fluid communication with one another in the closed configuration, the valve isolating the first chamber from the second chamber in the flow configuration, so that the ratio of fluid flowing out of the these two chambers is fixed.
