Abstract:
A sealed and thermally insulated tank of which the wall is fixed to a bearing wall, the tank wall comprising a secondary thermal insulation barrier retained on the bearing wall and a secondary sealing barrier supported by the thermal insulation barrier; and a primary insulation barrier rigidly connected to the secondary element of the tank by fastening means linked to the secondary insulation barrier. The fastening means comprise a metal plate (301) fixed in a counterbore of a rigid plate (303) of a primary insulation block (13) adjacent to the secondary sealing barrier (304), and a protruding member (310), which is linked to a secondary insulation block (1) located perpendicular to the plate, said protruding member having a threaded head in order to engage with a nut (314) which, when screwed in, directly or indirectly exerts a force on the retaining area of the plate in the direction of the bearing wall (3).
Abstract:
The invention relates to a sealed, thermally insulated vessel comprising a vessel wall on a bearing structure (2), the vessel wall including an insulating barrier (1), an impervious barrier (4) and an anchoring member (3), the impervious barrier comprising: a first corrugated metal membrane (5) arranged on a first portion of the insulating barrier, a second corrugated metal membrane (6) arranged on a second portion of the insulating barrier, located on either side of the anchoring member, along an assembly edge arranged parallel to a longitudinal direction of the anchoring member (3), the first and second membranes being corrugated with a first series of corrugations intersecting the edge for assembling the end corrugation portions associated with the first series of corrugations of the first membrane extending in a direction transverse to the assembly edge in the direction of the second membrane, beyond the end corrugation portions associated with the first series of corrugations of the second membrane.
Abstract:
Fluidtight and thermally insulated tank built into a bearing structure, the tank wall comprising: - a thermal insulation barrier held on the bearing wall and consisting of blocks of insulation (1, 13) that are juxtaposed in parallel rows and separated from one another by gaps (10), - a sealing barrier supported by the thermal insulation barrier and consisting of welded metal sheets (11, 15). Each block of insulation bears, on its opposite face to the bearing wall, two metal connecting strips (5, 6 and 14a, 14b) running parallel to the sides of the block of insulation. The sheets (11, 15) of the membrane which are supported by the block of insulation are welded to the strips. The connecting strips are secured to the block of insulation that bears them. The sheets (11, 15) each have at least two orthogonal folds (12g, 12b, 16a, 16b) parallel to the sides of the blocks of insulation (1, 13), said folds being inserted in the gaps (10) formed between the blocks of insulation.
