The invention relates to a thermoplastic composition (P) comprising a copolymer (a) of vinylaromatic monomer and methyl methacrylate monomer, at least two hindered amine light stabilizers, at least two UV absorbers, and optionally further additives. It further relates to a process for the preparation of the thermoplastic composition (P), a process for the preparation of a shaped article, the shaped article, and the use of the components for the preparation of a thermoplastic composition (P). The thermoplastic composition (P) has high clarity, low haze, and advantageous high UV stability.

The present invention relates to a thermoplastic impact resistant copolymer composition having an increased luminous transmittance in relation to conventional impact resistant compositions, a process for its preparation and shaped articles made therefrom. The composition comprises 25 to 45% by weight of at least one acrylate-based graft copolymer and 25 to 75% by weight of at least one random copolymer of alkyl (meth) acrylate and vinylaromatic monomers.

The invention relates to an improved process for providing purified styrenic monomers, such as styrene, from styrene-containing polymer waste. Styrene-containing waste is depolymerized in a suitable reactor, and the depolymerization products are condensed and separated in a three-step distillation process.

The invention is directed to a method for producing a thermoplastic molding composition comprising at least one styrene polymer and at least one lubricant, selected from fatty acids and fatty acids derivatives, wherein the method encompasses the preparation of a master batch polymer composition,comprising at least one styrene polymer having a melt flow rate (measured according to ASTMD1238,200°C/5 kg)in the range of 2 to 10 g/10min;and 10 to 40 % by weight, based on the master batch polymer composition, of the lubricant. In particular the styrene polymer is selected from standard polystyrenes (general purpose polystyrene (GPPS))and high impact polystyrenes(HIPS).
