Abstract: The invention relates to a method for pressing a container from a blank, the blank comprising: - a bottom part; - at least one side wall part; and - at least one flange part, wherein the method comprises: a. pressing the bottom part of the blank with respect to a mould; and b. pressing the at least one flange part. The invention also relates for a device for performing the method. The invention also relates to a blank and to a container being folded from a said blank.
