Abstract:
A container is disclosed comprising: a chamber for containing one or more artefacts; at least one receiving means for receiving an artefact; an actuation means operable to actuate the receiving means to move from a collecting position to a dispensing position, wherein, in the collecting position, the receiving means is in communication with the chamber such that the artefact is received by the receiving means, and wherein, when the receiving means is in the dispensing position the artefact is dispensed from the container.
Abstract:
A dispenser assembly having a container and an insert secured within the container. The insert includes a product cartridge defining a product containing space and a dispensing body having a dispenser receptacle. The product containing space has a first opening through which product exits, and the dispenser receptacle has a second opening at least partially offset from the first opening through which product enters the dispenser receptacle. The dispenser assembly further includes a push-button assembly attached to the insert, including a button that moves between first and second positions. The button has an orifice defined therein in communication with one of the first or second openings when in the first position and with the other of the first or second openings when in the second position, such that the button permits transmittal of product between the first and second openings when moved between the first and second positions.
Abstract:
A child-resistant package includes a seal for sealing a package and a latch for securing the package in a closed position. According to embodiments, the package includes a first shell portion having a first closed lip and a second shell portion having a second closed lip. According to embodiments, the seal may be formed by the engagement of an angled outer wall of the first closed lip with a bent or deformed thin wall of the second closed lip. The package may also incorporate one or more elastomeric ancillary face and/or side seals. The first and second shell portions may be joined by a hinge, such as a double hinge. Additionally, the insert may include a dispenser assembly that controls the dispensing of product from a product containing space to a dispenser receptacle. A spring may bias the latch in a locked or rest position.
Abstract:
A tablet dispenser (10) for dispensing individual solid objects comprising a lower housing (12), an upper housing (14) with an elastomeric cover (16) that covers at least a portion of a trigger mechanism. The elastomeric cover (16) of the lower housing (12) and a dispenser mechanism (120) is dimensioned to fit within the housing (100). The dispenser mechanism (120) has a container region (122) and a dispenser zone (124). The dispenser mechanism (120) has a spring element (130) and a lever mechanism (142) pivotally mounted in the dispensing zone (124). An interior of the lower housing (12) is provided with a pusher bar (149) which extends from a fore wall (103) of the lower housing (102).
Abstract:
Abstract:
A tablet dispenser for dispensing individual solid objects comprising a lower housing, an upper housing with an elastomeric cover that covers at least a portion of a trigger mechanism, a elastomeric cover of at least a portion of the lower housing and a dispenser mechanism that is dimensioned to fit within the housings, the dispenser mechanism has a container region and a dispenser zone, the dispenser mechanism has a spring element and a lever mechanism pivotally mounted in the dispensing zone, an interior of the lower housing is provided with a pusher bar which extends from a fore wall of the lower housing back towards an upward extending leg of the lever mechanism, the pusher bar, upward extending leg and a hook element are configured so that the pusher bar is not in contact with the upward extending leg and the extending leg is set back from an opening situated on a fore wall of the lower housing and a hook element of the lever mechanism extends into the dispenser zone blocking tablets from being dispensed through the opening when the dispenser mechanism is at rest but, at the same time, when sufficient force is applied to the elastomeric cover, the dispenser mechanism moves forward, towards the fore wall of the lower housing and the upward extending leg of the lever mechanism contacts the pusher bar, as the upward extending leg pivots in the direction opposite the direction in which the dispenser mechanism is moving, the hook element of the lever mechanism pivots in the opposite direction of the upward extending leg and thus removing the impediment prohibiting the tablet from passing through the opening of the dispensing mechanism.
Abstract:
According to the present invention there is provided a dispenser comprising (i) a container body (10), (ii) a storage region (12) which is disposed within the container body (10) and which in use contains a multiplicity of items (C) to be individually dispensed, (iii) a dispensing outlet (14), (iv) a passage between the storage region (12) and the dispensing outlet (14), (v) a valve member (38) disposed between said storage region (12) and said outlet (14) moveable between an open position and a closed position, (vi) a stop member (117) spaced from said valve member (38) so as to define a passage region (24) of a size to accommodate an item (C) to be dispensed, said stop member (117) being moveable into and out of a closed position in which it prevents passage of an item (C) through said passage region (24), and (vii) manually operable means (34) for moving said valve member (38) and said stop member (117).
Abstract:
Homeopathic granule dispenser comprising a case (10) for containing the granules to be dispensed, inside which there are a chute (22) and a movable element (14) with a pusher (18) at the top and a spring (20) exerting an upward force, the case being closed at the bottom by a receptacle (12) in which a granule is collected each time the movable element is lowered. The chute (22) has a central recess (24), whose diameter is slightly greater than the diameter of the granules, for bringing the case into communication with the receptacle, and a helical or quasi-helical ramp terminating at the central recess so that the granule (26) situated at the end of the ramp is introduced into the central recess, a flexible abutment (28) retaining the end granule when the movable element is in the raised position, and the movable element forcing the granule past the abutment, through deflection of the latter, so that it is collected in the receptacle when the movable element is lowered by the user.
Abstract:
A dispenser has a stationary (1) and a movable (2) part which are moved relative to each other to dispense a tablet. An alignment channel (5, 6) in the movable part (2) is telescoped into a dispensing channel (10, 11) in the stationary part (1) the channels being provided with protrusions (7, 12) guiding the tablets along a path so that one tablet is guided to a position resting on a support (8) carried by the movable part (2) from which it is dispensed when the support (8) is lowered relative to the dispensing channel (10, 11) whereas the protrusions (7, 12) in the channels withhold subsequent tablets in the alignment channel (5, 6). One protrusion is a bent -in end of a flexible wall (5) which can be deflected if a tablet jams.
