Abstract:
An adjustable raking apparatus for gathering crop material into a windrow is disclosed. The raking apparatus allows the raking width and the windrow width to be independently adjusted. In some embodiments, both the raking width and the windrow width may be adjusted by the operator from the pulling vehicle attached to the raking apparatus.
Abstract:
A rake wheel (100) has a hub (106) with tines (200) extending outwardly from the hub (106). The tines (200) extend through evenly spaced openings (112) in a support band (110). At least the inner periphery of the openings (112) through the support band (110) are made of a material softer than the material of the tines (200) to minimize the wear of the tines (200) where the tines touch the inner periphery of the openings (112) as the tines (200) move with respect to the inner periphery of the openings (112) during the use of the rake wheel (100).
Abstract:
A hay rake arrangement including a pair of rake arms configured as a generally inverted V shape, wherein one end of each rake arm of the pair of rake arms is orientated to an apex pushable through between a first line of initially cut hay and a second line of initially cut hay by a ground engaging drivable agriculture vehicle, so each plurality of rake wheels uniformly distributed along the length of the front or outside of the respective pair of rake arms in the inverted V shaped configuration, are adapted to rake the first line of initially cut hay and the second line of initially cut hay into adjacent lines of initially cut hay on respective external sides of the ground engaging drivable agriculture vehicle.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a tine element (1) for displacing harvest product, comprising first (2) and second (3) tines each linked by a coiled part (6, 7) to a common central part (8). The tines (2, 3) have a curved end (4, 5) which can, while they are being operated, drive in traction the harvest product. The coiled parts (6, 7) are designed so that they provide to the tines (2, 3) different elasticity characteristics. Thus, it is possible to optimise the flexibility of each tine (2, 3) of a pair of tines and therefore, while preserving good performance, obtain better adaptation to the ground and a longer life span.
Abstract:
A swather including a horizontal bar (1), having at a first end (R) a device for connection to a towing vehicle and at the opposite end a generally horizontal bar (2), transverse to the first one, each end of which is associated with a generally vertical member (3, 4) bearing a wheel (7), preferably a pivoting wheel equipped with a tyre, said assembly of the transverse bar and the vertical members being associated with generally horizontal long arms (10), directed towards said first end of the first horizontal bar and pivotally connected to the transverse bar or the vertical members, so that the arms, when extended to a working position, can make the assembly take a V-shaped or Y-shaped configuration. Each said arm is equipped with a pivoting wheel with tyre (6) at its end remote from said transverse bar, or distal end, and also with a plurality of wheel rakes (5). At least the pivoting wheels with tyres (6) located at or near the distal ends of said arms (10) are equipped with shock absorbing means, capable of attenuating the impulsive loads due to the impact of the wheels themselves against irregularities of the ground. The swather is also equipped with a device for the automatic locking and unlocking of the arms with rake wheels.
