    Abstract: A tibial implant may include a plurality of geometrically conformal implant subunits. The implant subunits may be configured for individual insertion within a wedge-shaped-void of the tibia. The implant subunits may further be configured for assembly in order to provide an implant substantially covering an exposed portion of cortical bone formed when performing a surgical osteotomy. In some embodiments, some or all of the plurality of subunits may be mechanically interlocked with each other. Methods and kits for insertion and assembly of implants are further described.

    Abstract: TPLO plate includes a body having a proximal portion positioned over a cut and repositioned proximal segment of a tibia during a procedure and a distal portion positioned over a distal segment of the tibia during the procedure and a first distal hole extending through a proximal end of the distal portion from the first surface to the second surface. The first hole is configured so that the body is rotatable about a fixation element seated therein in combination with a second distal hole extending through the distal portion distally of the first hole. The second hole includes a compression surface along a caudal side thereof, so that a head portion of a fixation element is slid therealong during insertion into the second hole and the distal end is moved caudally relative to the fixation element and the body is rotated about the fixation element in the first hole relative to the recess of the first hole, cranially compressing the proximal segment against the distal segment.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a spinal plate which is used to perform fixation surgery on a spine in orthopedic surgery and neurosurgery. The spinal plate comprises a central body and a pair of rotation portions which are disposed on both sides in a longitudinal direction of the central body and each of the pair of rotation portions has bone screw. The spinal plate also comprises spike screw in each of the pair of rotation portions. Each of the pair of rotation portions include a rotation connection portion, and the central body includes a rotation support portion. Rotation pins are used to connect the central body with the pair of rotation portions disposed on both sides in a longitudinal direction of the central body and enable the pair of rotation portions to rotate clockwise or counterclockwise with respect to the central body.

    Abstract: A plate assembly for stabilizing a bone, including a fixation plate (1022) having rails that form a window (1024). The plate assembly includes a band (1000) having a tail and a head. The head defines an internal cavity configured to receive a portion of the tail. The fixation plate is configured to be positioned proximate to a bone. The head is configured to be at least partially received within the window. Further, the band is configured to be wrapped around the fixation plate and the bone, and the internal cavity of the head is configured to receive an end of the tail to form a loop. The band is configured to receive a tension force to tighten the loop formed by the band. The band may passively engage the fixation plate so that bands may be easily removed from windows when no tension is applied to the band.
