    Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to a carton (390) for packaging one or more articles and a blank (310) for forming the carton. The carton comprises a plurality of panels forming walls of a tubular structure including a top wall (316), a first side wall (314a, 314b), a base wall (312, 320) and a second side wall (318a, 318b). An end closure structure at least partially closes an end of the tubular structure. The end closure structure includes: a top end closure flap (330b) having a handle flap (360) which defines at least in part a handle opening in the top end closure flap for forming a carrying handle H2; a side end closure flap (326b, 334a) coupled to one of the first and second side walls; wherein the side end closure flap comprises a portion which underlies the handle flap when both the top and side end flaps are folded into an end-closing position.

    Abstract: A carton for holding a plurality of containers. The carton has a plurality of panels for at least partially forming an interior of the carton. The plurality of panels includes at least one top panel comprising a handle portion and a retention portion. The handle portion is foldably connected to the retention portion and at least partially forms a handle of the carton. The retention portion has openings for respectively receiving the necks of the containers when the containers are in the carton. The retention portion has at least one reinforcing flap for reinforcing and stabilizing the carton when the handle is activated.

    Abstract: A locking arrangement secures together first and second panels. The arrangement includes locking tabs (54, 56, 58) projecting from an end edge (64) of the first panel (12) and locking slits (50a, 50b, 50c) in the second panel (28). Each locking slit is provided for receiving a respective one of the locking tabs. The locking tabs and the locking slits are engageable by relative sliding movement with each other.     Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to a panel interlocking device, a carton, and a blank for forming the carton. The carton blank incorporating a panel interlocking device for securing together a first and a second panel in overlapping relationship. The panel interlocking device comprises a locking tab struck from the first panel, and a retaining tab defining a locking aperture struck from the second panel. In use the retaining tab is displaced out of the plane of the second panel to receive said locking tab through the locking aperture to be engaged therewith.
