This invention relates to a kind of devices with trace emission resulted for treatment of exhaust gas. The device comprises a vessel having only one opening that serves as inlet. At least two gas exchange sections in sequence are provided inside the vessel after inlet of exhaust gas, between two gas exchange sections there is a gas mixture chamber at their connection part. The gas exchange chamber at first gas exchange section has a through opening leading to outside atmosphere area. With this configuration, on entering into the gas exchange section, exhaust gas will be ejected inwards and causes very strong entrainment, which makes the gas chamber become vacuum and sucks air with oxygen from atmosphere into gas chamber via the through opening to atmosphere. Formed high-pressure gas is burned furiously with combustible gas in the gas chamber at next stage, and the remaining exhaust gas is transferred into next gas exchange section with very high-speed revolution occurring on exhaust gas and momentum transfer. The higher negative pressure is, the more gas is consumed. In this way, the exhaust gas will be treated and only trace emission, even no emission, will be resulted.

Various technologies and techniques are disclosed for providing concurrent exception handling. When one or more exceptions are received from concurrent workers, one or more exception handler functions are supplied. For each respective exception in the exception results, determine if the respective exception is one of a kind of exceptions handled by the one or more exception handler functions. If the respective exception is one of a kind handled by the exception handler functions, then run a particular handler of the exception handler functions and mark the respective exception as handled. Any unhandled exceptions are then processed appropriately. In one implementation, a collection of input data is processed to produce a collection of output results, with the exceptions being interleaved with other output results. In another implementation, a particular exception is selected that represents the multiple exceptions. The selected one particular exception is then thrown.

The data processing device has a plurality of functional units and issues instructions in successive instruction cycles. Instructions of a first type are each intended for one functional unit at a time. An instruction of a second type causes a combination of functional units to respond in the same instruction execution cycle, a result from one functional unit being used by another as part of the execution of the same instruction. Preferably, the device supports alternative operation at a number of different instruction cycle rates, dependent on whether an executed program segment contains instructions of the second type. The fastest instruction cycle rate does not allow execution of the instruction of the second type, because operation by different functional units does not fit within the instruction execution cycle. When possible, the device saves power by switching to a slower clock rate, in which case instructions of the second type are executed to save additional power, by reducing the number of instructions that have to be issued.

Using a snapshot function, a remote copy is efficiently created. Data for a snapshot is converted into a first bitmap of differential data for a remote copy. The conversion is performed in advance at appropriate chronological intervals. Furthermore, when the snapshot function splits, a second bitmap of cascade differential data, which is new differential data, is created simultaneously with creation of the data for the snapshot. This second bitmap of cascade differential data is created in the same format as the first bitmap of differential data for the remote copy. Then, when the snapshot function shifts from split status to pair status, the second bitmap of cascade differential data is added to the first bitmap of differential data for the remote copy (to produce a logical sum), and a remote copy is created based on this bitmap that was added.

A method includes reducing power of a first graphics processor by disabling or not using its rendering engine and leaving a display engine of the same first graphics processor capable of outputting display frames from a corresponding first frame buffer to a display. A display frame is rendered by a second graphics processor while the rendering engine of the first graphics processor is in a reduced power state, such as a non-rendering state. The rendered frame is stored in a corresponding second frame buffer of the second graphics processor, such as a local frame buffer and copied from the second frame buffer to the first frame buffer. The copied frame in the first frame buffer is then displayed on a display while the rendering engine of the first graphics processor is in the reduced power state. Accordingly thermal output and power output is reduced with respect to the first graphics processor since it does not do frame generation using its rendering engine, it only uses its display engine to display frames generated by the second graphics processor.

Transport independent redirection. If a client computing system were to request a service from a service computing system, the service may determine whether or not the client should request the service from yet another service. If the client should request the service from the other computing system, the original service (or its intermediary) generates and transmits a transport-independent redirect message to the client. The client may then issue the request to the new service specified in the redirect response. The redirect message is not limited to a particular type of transport protocol. In addition, the redirect may be made possible in any number of message exchange patterns, not just request-response.

The invention increases performance of HTTP over long-latency links by pre-fetching objects concurrently via aggregated and flow-controlled channels. An agent and gateway together assist a Web browser in fetching HTTP contents faster from Internet Web sites over long-latency data links. The gateway and the agent coordinate the fetching of selective embedded objects in such a way that an object is ready and available on a host platform before the resident browser requires it. The seemingly instantaneous availability of objects to a browser enables it to complete processing the object to request the next object without much wait. Without this instantaneous availability of an embedded object, a browser waits for its request and the corresponding response to traverse a long delay link.

A method for originating a bank deposit with the use of a computer is suggested, which implies entering the deposit characteristics into a computer. Use of the method makes it possible to achieve a technical result in the form of increase of the effectiveness of the origination of a bank deposit, improvements of the visualization and availability of the data presented to the bank customer, and enhancements of the functional characteristics of the method. The technical result is achieved due to the bank deposit being originated out of two or more currencies, the costs of which are correlated to the independent unit of deposit cost. The proportions of the currency components in the deposit are then calculated, which give such a ratio between the deposit risk and yield that is optimum from the point of view of preserving and/or increasing the deposit value.

A system is provided for leasing motor vehicles to credit challenged consumers or consumers that do not qualify for conventional financing. The system utilizes a short term prepaid lease in combination with a device utilizing microprocessor technology installed in the motor vehicle to encourage payment. The consumer pays in advance to use the motor vehicle for a predetermined lease period. If the consumer does not make the prepayment, the device installed in the vehicle prevents the vehicle from operating. The system is used to make a determination as to the amount of a weekly payment a credit challenged consumer (“Consumer”) can afford. Using the weekly payment amount, the system then extrapolates the value of a vehicle appropriate for the Consumer's payment ability. Once the lease has been executed, a predetermined operating time is loaded into the device, which is connected to the vehicle's ignition system. The device renders the ignition system inoperable upon there being no authorized operating time remaining in the device. Each week the Consumer prepays for the next week, and upon bank clearing of the payment, an additional week of preloaded operating time is authorized by entering data into the device connected to the ignition system.
