An improvement is disclosed for a push-up handle of the type having a cylindrical base rotatably fixed to a grip. The improvement comprises a shell having a convex outer surface and a concave inner surface, and a connector for selectively fixing the grip of the push-up handle to the shell. A method and apparatus for efficient handling of product returns to reduce associated costs. A computer system at a regional product return center scans a returned product for identifying information, accesses a manufacturer return approval computer system through the internet or the like, and then submits the identifying information to the manufacturer for return approval. The manufacturer computer system utilizes the identifying information to access an electronic registration database to determine whether the returned product satisfies applicable return criteria. If so, the product is approved for return to the manufacturer. The regional product return center preferably scans a plurality of returned products in a single session. In response to the product identifying information submitted by the regional product return center, the manufacturer provides a list of approved returns and unapproved returns, along with a return authorization number for the batch of approved returns. The regional product return center then assembles the approved product returns into a box, shipping pallet, or the like, applies a label indicating the return authorization label, and ships the batch to the manufacturer. Shipping costs can be saved by omitting rejected product returns from the shipment. The manufacturer can handle the approved product returns from the regional return center as a batch, thereby reducing costs.

A solder bump is formed on a substrate by using a heating device where a lid structure blocks hot air from directly blowing against a solder composition. The heating device can reduce high-temperature oxygen molecules that come into contact with the solder composition, oxidation of the solder composition is suppressed. As a result, although the hot air is used for heating, a solder bump can be formed by the liquid-like solder composition. Further, because the lid structure is uniformly heated by the hot air, radiation heat from the lid structure is also uniform, and a container is more uniformly heated. In addition, because the hot air is suppressed from directly blowing against a liquid surface, the liquid-like solder composition is not scattered by the hot air.

Systems and methods are presented for insertion of assets into a stream of content (e.g., audio and/or video programming). Such assets may be targeted to network users separate from the surrounding content and deliveries thereof confirmed. Among other things, these systems and methods enable a new advertising paradigm based on guaranteed delivery of targeted commercial impressions. In this regard, the systems and methods generally provide assets with broadcast network programming (e.g., via actual insertion and/or switching to an asset channel) based on actual audience observations. For example, asset providers may wish to target assets for delivery according to specific audience classifications (e.g., gender, income level, locale, age, etc.). Programming providers, such as television programmers and radio programmers (e.g., standard tower broadcast radio and satellite radio), may receive information from broadcast network users and insert the assets into available bandwidth based on that information.

Variations of waiting times of requests for services handled by a processor are minimized. In response to the processor receiving a request for a service, an arrival time of the request for the service is recorded and added to a total arrival time for all requests for the service, and a counter of a number of waiting requests for the service is incremented. In response to the processor processing the request, the arrival time of the request is subtracted from the total arrival time, and the counter is decremented. In either case, an average waiting time of requests for the service is determined, a history of the average waiting times is maintained, and the variation within this history is determined. Where the variation is greater than a threshold, processor resources are adjusted to minimize variations within waiting times of requests for all the services handled by the processor.
