A chemical bath deposition method based on a new CBD reactor is presented to prepare different thin films on continuous flexible substrates in roll-to-roll processes. In particular, they are useful to deposit CdS or ZnS buffer layers in manufacture of thin film solar cells. This method deposits thin films onto vertically travelling continuous flexible workpieces delivered by a roll-to-roll system. The thin films are deposited with continuously spraying the reaction solutions from their freshly mixed styles to gradually aged forms until the designed thickness is obtained. The substrates and the solutions are heated to a reaction temperature. During the deposition processes, the front surfaces of the flexible substrates are totally covered with the sprayed solutions but the substrate backsides are remained dry. The reaction ambience inside the reactor can be isolated from the outside atmosphere. The apparatus is designed to generate a minimum amount of waste solutions for chemical treatments.

In exemplary implementations, a bicycle has “power pedaling”, in which a rider's pedaling efforts are augmented by an electric motor. The rider can control the motor simply by pedaling. It is desirable that the motor torque not exceed the rider torque; otherwise the motor overpowers the rider. A radial flexure is part of the drivetrain that transmits torque from the rider to the back wheel. One part of the flexure is connected to the back wheel casing; another part of the flexure is connected to the freewheel. If motor velocity exceeds rider velocity, this causes the flexure to elastically deform. Two sensors measure the deformation, which is equal to the difference between the angular displacements of the casing and freewheel, respectively. A PD controller seeks to make this difference equal to zero, by controlling voltage levels in the motor (and thus controlling the torque contributed by the motor).

Devices for conveying fuel are known having a conveying assembly and a pump holder holding the conveying assembly which has a receptacle for the conveying assembly and a holder connected to the receptacle via three damping elements. The damping elements damp the structure-born noise transmission from the conveying assembly to the adjacent components. The damping elements each have a cantilever section which projects starting from the receptacle into the region of the holder and runs in the radial direction and circumferential direction. The cantilever sections are designed as elastic spring arms, the axial deflection thereof in respect of a pump axis being able to exceed a maximum allowable value by means of external acceleration forces. The mechanical stresses occurring in the spring arms can lead to damage to the spring arms. In the device according to the invention, the damping elements have a strongly progressive spring characteristic curve in respect of an axial deflection such that a progressively increasing spring force in the damping element occurs with increasing spring travel of the pump holder. The axial deflection of the pump holder is consequently reduced over that of the prior art. According to the invention, an elastic spring section (15) connects on the cantilever section (12) which runs with the longitudinal extension thereof in the axial direction and in the circumferential direction in respect of a pump axis (2.1) and is connected to the holder (11).

The present invention relates to a rainwater gutter for mounting on a building to collect rainwater from the roof. It is shaped similar to a letter S. The rainwater flows from the roof covering onto the top section of the S shaped curved element, where, due to the contour of the gutter and surface tension will flow down from the upper curved section into the cylindrical section via the opening formed by the bottom section of the S returning to terminate as an open end close to the top section. The small opening also emits daylight thus reducing the possibility of vegetation growing in the gutter. This will reduce expensive and dangerous maintenance of eave gutters. Because the water gathered from the eave of the roof is cleaner it would reduce filtration costs for rainwater harvesting. The gutter can be formed in plastic, aluminum, copper or zinc.

The invention computes approximate origins of data packets transmitted over the Internet. Law enforcement agencies and network operators can use it to assign responsibility for observed Internet activities. The invention uses a small number of cooperative locations (incoming links on routers or switches) to provide link identification data: whether a packet or did or did not traverse that location. The system uses these cooperative places to generate the link signature of a data packet—which cooperative locations observed and did not observe the packet. Potential origin locations are divided into pre-computed blocks that have the same link signatures to given destination locations. The blocks are used to generate reverse routing data, potential source addresses for different link signatures. Variations of the invention store relevant link identification and reverse routing data to find the origins of past packets or to compute the origins of packets from partial information about packets of interest.

A novel method is disclosed for capturing an installed state of a conventional application and converting the captured state into a virtual application. The novel method starts with a bare machine in a known state, preferably soon after the OS was installed. Installation scripts are used to install one or more software applications along with required components and dependencies. Other artifacts can be added and configured such as files, trees, directories, entries, data, values, among others. These also may include updates to various system databases, such as the Windows registry in which certain metadata is stored. The installed applications are tested and verified to work as desired. Undesired artifacts can be deleted manually or removed by the OS. The state of the virtual machine with the installed applications is captured. The installed applications can be tested on the frozen virtual machine. If the user determines that the installed applications are working properly, a virtual machine image is prepared and then written out. The resulting output is a new populated virtual application container that encapsulates the applications installed and configured by the user. If the user determines that one or more installed applications do not work properly during testing, then the frozen virtual machine can be unfrozen and any deficiencies corrected. The virtual machine image is stored as a launch document and a set of shards. The virtual machine image represents the state of the virtual machine along with the installed applications at the time the preparation virtual machine was frozen.

Test shapes are generated to determine whether vias formed in the area of the stitch shapes can extend to the at least one underlying conductive line level without contacting preexisting design shapes in the at least one underlying conductive line level structure and whether a new design shape can be inserted into the at least one underlying conductive line level with electrical isolation. As many new design shapes are inserted as possible to prevent extension of collateral via structures below the top surface of underlying metal line structures in a physical metal interconnect structure implementing the design layout.

To provide a substrate processing apparatus which can prevent a reduction in quality of a product, and damage to the apparatus. In a control program which operates on a substrate processing apparatus, a recipe storage portion and a parameter storage portion configure a data storage device which stores data relating to a control. On a user who has an authority being authenticated by an authentication process, the user carries out a data editing operation via an editing screen. A setting portion receives, via a UI device, operations for editing data stored by the data storage device. A timing portion measures a time between the operations received by the setting portion, and transmits the time to an operation control portion. In the event that the time measured by the timing portion has exceeded a prescribed time, the operation control portion prohibits the reception of the operations for editing the data.

A system and method for generating popup content in response to user's actions within an enabled web page is disclosed. Generation of the popup occurs in response to a user triggered event which invokes a script referencing a secondary web page to display within the bounds of the enabled web page. The user triggered event results from movement of a mouse pointer or a keyboard event which may indicate a user's intention to exit the web page by closing the web browser window or navigating to a different web site or web page. The resulting popup is contained within the web page content itself, thereby resulting in a less intrusive popup display and avoiding the effects of popup suppression utilities.

A method of decoding a block with a Soft Output Viterbi Algorithm (SOVA) using a trellis representation and a sliding window wherein each position of the sliding window has a path determination stage at one end of the sliding window and a symbol decision stage at another end of the sliding window is disclosed. The method comprises determining, for each path determination stage and for each node of the path determination stage, a surviving path (including a surviving path input symbol and a surviving decision stage node) and a concurrent path (including a concurrent path input symbol and a concurrent decision stage node) based on path metrics. A path metric disparity value is calculated and stored for each node. Based on decision criteria, a soft output value of the surviving decision stage node is determined as either of the path metric disparity value of the node of the path determination stage, a function of the path metric disparity value of the node of the path determination stage and the stored path metric disparity value of the concurrent decision stage node, and the stored path metric disparity value of the surviving decision stage node. Corresponding computer program product, decoder and communication apparatus are also disclosed.
