This wireless indicator is attached to a lens casing that covers the front face of the camera to protect components of the camera such as the lens. A wireless signal interface on the front face of the camera is configured to emit ultraviolet light in response to control circuitry within the camera. The ultraviolet light is transmitted through the lens casing to an excitable element. The excitable element produces visible light in response to the ultraviolet light. Any re-emitted visible light that travels back towards the camera lens and image sensor is reflected by a reflective layer, which is configured to transmit ultraviolet light while reflecting visible light. Therefore, the wireless indicator does not cause light artifacts or image flaws to appear in images captured by the image sensor.

In an embodiment, the design method introduces a thickness optimization algorithm into a Yang-Gu algorithm. The design method breaks through limitations to the modulation thicknesses/modulation phases in the prior art and increases the diffraction efficiency, and the obtained diffractive optical element facilitates mass production by a modern photolithographic technique, which greatly reduces the cost. The diffractive optical element may also be applied to the solar cell, which provides an efficient and low-cost way for solar energy utilization.

Signals from the pressure sensors are compared to obtain a ratio that is used to predict whether a cavitation condition exists within the pump. The ratio can be compared to user provided limits to change an operating characteristic of the pump to reduce predicted cavitation. The pump may be stopped, or pump speed changed, when the ratio is less than a predetermined value. In some embodiments, historical information regarding the ratio may be used to obtain standard deviation information which may then be used to predict whether gas bubbles are passing through the pump. For solving these problems, we made examination focusing on the kind of the salt and, as a result, found that 1) benzenesulfonate of compound A does not decompose by light, humidity and other factors in a 1-week preliminary stability test (severe test), and has no problem in its storage stability, 2) a method of selectively producing two kinds of crystal forms of benzenesulfonate of compound A, and that 3) no mineral deposition in the stomach is observed even after a 4-week repeated oral administration.

The cutting edges of the knife blade are drawn along and against the sharpening steels to automatically sharpen their cutting edges at the proper angle without any need to match angles between the cutting edges of the knife and the sharpening steels, and without any counterweights applied to the sharpening steels. Such a sharpening apparatus can be used to maintain an extremely sharp cutting edge for precise cutting of a material without crushing or other damage with significantly reduced physical force and strain upon the user.
