The display control unit determines whether a phase of a gear shift operation is an inertia phase when gear shift control of an automatic transmission is executed, and sets display responsiveness of a tachometer with respect to the detected engine speed higher than display responsiveness to be set when the phase is not the inertia phase, when the phase of the gear shift operation is determined to be the inertia phase.
