Data on an impending curve, speed, and acceleration of a vehicle are collected. A curve attention output that is a measure of the vehicle speed, the vehicle acceleration, and the curvature of the impending curve is determined based at least in part on the data. An output mechanism in a wearable device is activated at a first intensity when the curve attention output exceeds or is equal to a firstthreshold and below a second threshold. The output mechanism is activated at a second intensity when the curve attention output exceeds or is equal to the second threshold and below a third threshold.
