The invention provides, for use in pesticidal (especially plant fungicidal) and plant growth regulating compositions, a thiazolidinone compound having the formula (I):
or a salt or complex thereof, wherein R1, R 4 and R 5 are hydrogen or hydrocarbyl; one of R2 and R 3 is optionally substituted 3-pyridyl and the other is optionally substituted 3-pyridyl or hydrocarbyl; and n is 0,1 or 2.
