摘要：
Balusters (12) and rails (10) are angularly adjustable after their assembly to fit the different pitches of stairways. To this end a rail is characterized by:
a) the rail (10) having an elongated recess (13) sunk in one lateral side thereof, and having at least one interior socket (14) laterally intersecting said recess,
b) the socket (14) configured to pivotally receive the baluster (12) pivot with the baluster projecting from the rail (10), the socket (14) having an interior laterally facing wall defined by the rail,
c) the recess (13) configured to receive a moulding attached to the rail (10) to laterally confine the pivot in the socket (14) between the moulding and said interior wall, for pivoting in said socket (14)
a) the rail (10) having an elongated recess (13) sunk in one lateral side thereof, and having at least one interior socket (14) laterally intersecting said recess,
b) the socket (14) configured to pivotally receive the baluster (12) pivot with the baluster projecting from the rail (10), the socket (14) having an interior laterally facing wall defined by the rail,
c) the recess (13) configured to receive a moulding attached to the rail (10) to laterally confine the pivot in the socket (14) between the moulding and said interior wall, for pivoting in said socket (14)
