摘要： A plurality of panels of strawboard are erected in a closed figure (10), preferably a square, on a foundation and their base edges mechanically secured to the foundation (22). The side edges of the panels are butted together and joined, for instance using tape (88) and adhesive on both faces. A wall cap (28) of novel construction is mounted to the upper edges, and a hip roof, preferably of pyramidal figure and made of corresponding cut panels of like strawboard are fitted in place. The foot of each roof panel (12') fits in the wall cap (28), and its upper edge typically forms a definition line of the roof hip. The roof panels are similarly united using a tape and adhesive joint. Other types of roofs may be provided but are not presently preferred. In instances where strawboard is available in lesser thickness, multiple thicknesses of such thinner material, may be laminated to provide panels which are 4, 6 or more inches in thickness. Suitable ways of providing doors, windows, skylights, utility service and finishing are described, as are multiple module buildings and preferred constructional techniques.

摘要： A grid, the size of which is selectable to conform to a window opening, or the like and which is used for window decoration, comprises multiple couplings (60,70,80) and elongated grid members (90,91,92,93) of flat hollow section having slidable telescopic interfit with tongues of said couplings to define a peripheral frame (92,93) and crossing members (90,91) which extend between the frame members to form the grid. The grid members are of extruded plastics and may be cut to length as required. The peripheral frame couplings (60,70) comprise fixed and pivoted tongues and the couplings (80) of the grid are of cross shape and comprise tongued parts pivoted together. One piece L, T and cross shaped couplings (21,22,23) (see Figure 1) may be used ; to form a rectangular grid of any required size.

摘要： Plusieurs panneaux de carton-paille sont dressés afin de former une figure fermée (10), de préférence un carré, sur une fondation (22), à laquelle les côtés de base desdits panneaux sont fixés mécaniquement. Les côtés latéraux desdits panneaux sont aboutés les uns aux autres et assemblés par application sur les deux faces en présence par exemple d'un ruban (88) et d'un adhésif. Une chape de paroi (28) de construction nouvelle est montée sur les bords supérieurs desdits panneaux et un toit en croupe, ayant de préférence la forme d'une pyramide est fait de panneaux correspondants découpés en carton-pâte est adapté sur place. La base de chaque panneau (12') du toit s'adapte dans la chape de paroi (28) et son bord supérieur forme une ligne définissant la croupe du toit. Les panneaux du toit sont également assemblés utilisant un ruban et une jointure adhésive. La présente invention se rapporte également à d'autres types de toits, bien que ceux-ci ne soient pas préférés. Par exemple, lorsque du carton-paille est disponible en épaisseurs plus faibles, plusieurs épaisseurs de ce matériau plus fin peuvent être laminées afin d'obtenir des panneaux de quatre et de six pouces d'épaiseur ou d'avantage. Des moyens appropriés d'aménagement de portes, de fenêtres, de lucarnes vitrées, de l'alimentation en électricité et de finitions ainsi que des bâtiments modulaires multiples et les techniques de constructions préférées sont également décrits.

摘要： Balusters (12) and rails (10) are angularly adjustable after their assembly to fit the different pitches of stairways. To this end a rail is characterized by:

c) the recess (13) configured to receive a moulding attached to the rail (10) to laterally confine the pivot in the socket (14) between the moulding and said interior wall, for pivoting in said socket (14)
