摘要：
A magnetic recording/regenerating apparatus which employs a package in which a magnetic disk (1) provided with a media hub (2) composed of a magnetic material is held in a shell. The positioning of the media hub (2) in the axial direction is attained by bringing the media hub (2) into contact with an end of a spindle hub (17), and the positioning in the radial direction is attained by bringing the inner surface of a center core (4) formed together with the media hub (2) as a unitary structure into contact with the outer periphery of the spindle hub (17). Further, a drive pin (21) which couples the media hub (2) to the spindle hub (17) is provided on the inside of the inner surface of the center core (4) at the end of the media hub (2). Therefore, the spindle hub is formed in a small size, and good head contact is maintained.
