摘要：
An apparatus for transporting discrete objects, or for transporting objects whilst subjecting them to a liquid treatment, includes a V-shaped duct (14) with a curved base portion (17) into which the objects are fed. A pulse limb (24) is connected to the side of the base portion (17) by a pulse duct (20), and enables the liquid level in the V-shaped duct to be gradually lowered, and then rapidly raised again, so displacing objects through a discharge duct (15) out of the V-shaped duct. The pulse duct is arranged such that liquid flowing into the V-shaped duct swirls around the circumference of the base portion (17).
