Catalysts based on alkaline aluminosilicates or gallosilicates of faujasite structure, having an Si/Al or Si/Ga ratio less than 1.5, in which at least 10 % of the alkaline cations are potassium, rubidium and/or caesium ions, containg as additive inclusions of at least one alkaline element in metallic form. Also described are their preparation and their use in the alkylation reactions of alkyl aromatic derivatives.
