Pyridyloxypyrimidine derivatives represented by the following formula [I]:
wherein R means a formyl group or an acetal group represented by
R¹ and R² being the same or different and individually denoting an alkyl group having 1-4 carbon atoms or R¹ and R² being coupled together and denoting an alkylene group, R³, having 2-3 carbon atoms; preparation processes of the derivatives; and herbicidal compositions containing one or more of the derivatives as an active ingredient.
