This invention relates to a method of manufacturing a fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin molded product significantly small in deformation resulting from fiber orientation and excellent in appearance, luster, dimensional stability, and mechanical properties. Fiber-reinforced thermoplastic molten resin, that is, molten thermoplastic resin (A) into which fibers in length ranging from 1 to 50 mm on the average are dispersed as a reinforcing material, is fed into an opened metallic mold on which a film or sheet comprising thermoplastic resin (A) and another adhesive thermoplastic resin (B) is mounted as required, and, with the metallic mold closed, is pressurized and cooled in a closed metallic mold to be molded into a product.
