A bulk material processor (10) includes a tray assembly (18) with a panel subassembly (78) having an upper panel section (80a) and a lower panel section (80d). The upper panel section (80a) is adapted to receive bulk material (12) and pass it to the lower panel section (80d) for discharge. A heater panel (12) is mounted over the tray assembly (18) for radiantly heating the bulk material (12) passing thereunder. A vibrator (20) is coupled to the tray assembly (18) for vibrating the bulk material (12) whereby it advances along the tray assembly (18). A control system (23) is provided for controlling the operation of the vibrator (20) and for controlling the output includes cascading the bulk material (12) from an upper panel section (80a) to a lower panel section (80d) by vibration and subjecting it to infrared radiation.
