The invention concerns a roof air-vent pipe (D) made of plastic, with a roof-covering plate (1) over which is fitted a dome (2) with a cap (6) which carries the vent pipe (3). In order to provide a vent pipe which is, in particular, efficient in use, the invention proposes that at least the external surfaces (8) of the dome (2) and the vent pipe (3) have a layer of copper covered with plastic.
