Described is a conveyor (2) for rubbish (A), the conveyor having a rubbish-feed shaft (4) connected on one side of a pipe (8). Lying along the inside of the pipe (8) is a screw conveyor (14) driven by a motor (20). The other end of the pipe (8) opens into an enclosure (10), in particular a pyrolysis reactor, forming part of a low-temperature waste-incineration plant, for instance. In order to ensure that blockages in the screw conveyor (14) can be removed easily, the invention proposes that the unit comprising the screw conveyor (14) and the pipe (8) is releasably attached to the enclosure (10) and can be moved away from the housing on a travelling mounting (28).
