This invention relates to novel aerosol formulations for administering drugs, in particular for administration of a beclomethasone ester by inhalation.
In particular this invention provides a novel aerosol formulation consisting essentially of particulate anhydrous beclomethasone dipropionate together with 1,1,1,2,3,3,3-heptafluoro-n-propane as propellant.
