The lashing bridges (1) have at least one substantially horizontal walkway (4) for handling of said lashing rods (9). Further, the walking level of the walkway (4) is arranged at a lower level than the lashing eyes (7, 17) to allow a person to carry out the lashing procedure standing in a substantially upright position.
