The invention relates to a device for cooling extruded profiles (2) comprising air slotted nozzles (6U, 60) running perpendicular to profile movement placed above and below an extruded profile moving on an exit line (1) and water-injecting nozzles (12) applying water to the extruded profile (2), whereby the water-injecting nozzles are placed separately from the air slotted nozzles (6U, 60) in tubes (12) running in profile direction, so that the application areas of the individual water-injecting nozzles (12) work together in order to ensure homogenous application on the profile (2).
