摘要：
An exhaust gas purifying catalyst comprises a first catalyst disposed in an exhaust gas stream for oxidizing NO to NO 2 and a second catalyst disposed in the exhaust gas stream downstream from the first catalyst for reducing the oxidized NO 2 which clacks HC having a large carbon number to HC having a small carbon number and causes the clacked HC to react with NO 2 so as thereby to reduce the NO 2 .
