The join between the tip and shaft is improved because the patient end collar 23, 123, 223, 321 of the cuff 20, 120, 220, 320 overlaps the join or abuts an overlapping machine end of the tip 9, 109, 209, 309. The cuff 220 may be moulded integrally with the tip 209.
