The invention relates to the use of partial glycerides of predominantly unsaturated C16-24- fatty acids, preferably with a pour point measured according to DIN ISO 3061 of max. 10 °C, optionally mixed with anionic tensides, as lubricants in drilling fluids such as those used for exploratory drilling that contain water and a separate oil phase.
