Two antenna elements (1, 2) of one wavelength are bent in their middle portions to form a rhombus, in which the antenna elements are connected to a feeder (3) on one end while they are open on the other end (4). The angle ( alpha ) made at the bends (1a, 2a) is set optimally to provide optimum directivity, and thus high gain. This antenna is small and short, and it serves as a UHF and pseudo-microwave antenna for mobile communications.
