A handstamp comprising a handle section (5) which is connected to a receiving housing (1) pertaining to a stamp plate holder (3) via a shaft section (6), whereby said housing forms a bearing frame and the handle section can be displaced in relation to the receiving housing, enabling the stamp plate holder to be moved with the aid of a height-adjustable tappet (4) from an inoperative position counter to a spring force into a pressurized position, whereby the handle section is joined to the receiving housing of the stamp plate holder by means of a flexible bellow-type structure (6) and is fitted with a removable cap (5''') that provides access to the adjustable tappet and whereby a receiving trough (9) pertaining to the stamp plate (2) is detachably connected to the stamp plate holder by means of a snap connection (3', 9').
