A cable supporting chain with motion along different axes is disclosed, comprising a plurality of links (2, 3) operatively associated to each other, characterized in that said links (2, 3) are connected to each other by a joint formed by cooperation of concave and convex or anyway complementary surfaces allowing the links to move one relative to the other along different axes.
