VERFAHREN ZUR HERSTELLUNG VON ALKYL-SUBSTITUIERTEN BUTENOLEN
摘要:
The invention relates to a method for producing alkyl-substituted butenols of the general formula (I): R1-CH2-CH=CR2-CH2OH, wherein R1 represents a saturated or olefinically unsaturated alkyl or cycloalkyl group with 4 to 16 carbon atoms that can be optionally substituted by an alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl or alkaryl group with the proviso that said substituent has a maximum of 12 carbon atoms and R2 represents hydrogen or an alkyl group with 1 to 6 carbon atoms. The inventive butenols can be obtained in high yields and high purity by reacting the aldehydes of formula (II) R1-CH2-CHO, wherein R1 has the same meaning as in formula (I), with the corresponding lower aldehydes and then reducing the unsaturated aldehydes obtained if (i) the aldol condensation is carried out in an inert organic solvent and (ii) the unsaturated aldehydes are reduced in the presence of optionally calcined copper-zinc. The reduction in step (ii) is carried out in a continuous and isothermal process and at temperatures ranging from 45 - 60 °C and at a hydrogen pressure in the range of from 1 to 300 bar.
