Disclosed is a method for the transmission of data between master/slave stations by means of radio transmission systems, and a computer for the allocation of radio transmission systems for the transmission of data between master/slave stations. The inventive method and computer are used for dynamic selection of data transmission systems for a communication involving at least one master/slave station (10), with the aid of a subscriber profile, the location of the master/slave station and the speed of said master/slave station, in order to transmit data between said master/slave stations. A computer in a switching device calculates which radio transmission system best meets the criteria. During the transmission of data, it is possible to automatically switch to another radio transmission system if there is a decrease in the transmission quality of the radio system currently in use.
