An electronic circuit (3) supplies the inductive generator (6) with an alternating current. The sensor element (1) has a closed conductive loop (10) in which the inductive generator(s) of the generator element (2) induce(s) a voltage in such a manner that a voltage profile is created that depends on the position of the generator element (2) with respect to the sensor element (1). Resistors (11) are connected along the conductive loop (10).
