The invention relates to a scanner for identifying a product, marked with a ferromagnetic resonance active marker substance, comprising a HF-oscillator, for generation of a static high frequency magnetic field HHF, extending through a sample, an electromagnet for generation of a parallel magnetic field HDC, acting on the sample, a signal detector for determining the HF-component of the magnetic flux BHF and a detector for determining the magnetic field strength Hgesamt, whereby the parallel magnetic field HDC is not static with relation to the time-course of the measurement.
