The invention provides compositions for treating cancer in a mammal comprising an effective amount of virus, particularly Newcastle Disease Virus or other Paramyxovirus. The invention also provides use of Newcastle Disease Virus in the manufacture of medicaments for treating cancer in a mammal having a tumour.
