The invention relates to a fixing device (10) intended for a handle of the interior of a vehicle in the vicinity of the internal face of a vehicle roof, said device also supporting the roofliner (11). The device comprises a base support element (12) of the handle, which is equipped with projections (15) that snap into cavities (14) of the body sheet (13) and at least one locking element (16) that locks the base support element (12) of the handle and can be inserted into said handle. According to the invention, the fixing device (10) comprises an adapter element (17) that can be inserted into the base support element (12) between the handle and the body sheet (13), for selectively fixing a handle and also simultaneously the roofliner (11) with or without an airbag integrated into the latter, in the vicinity of the internal face of the vehicle roof. The adapter element (17) is configured to receive a partial section of the locking element or elements for locking purposes.
