A drive device provided for operating adjusting devices in motor vehicles is comprised of an axial-field motor (1) equipped with rotor discs (3, 3') and with a gear mechanism (6), which is connected to the motor shaft (5) and to a drive element (7) of the adjusting device. The motor shaft (5) is supported on the periphery of the axial-field motor (1) by means of radial webs that are part of a supporting element (20). A bearing bush (4) for accommodating the motor shaft (5) is integrated inside the body of the supporting element (20).
