The invention relates to a door hinge with an arrester for motor vehicle doors, whereby the door hinge comprises a pillar fitting, for attaching to the motor vehicle and a door fitting, for attaching to the motor vehicle door. The door fitting is rotatably connected to the pillar fitting, by means of a hinge pin which is fixed in one fitting and which may rotate in the other fitting and the arrester comprises a catch body support, fixed to the hinge pin and a catch element, arranged to rotate relative to the catch body support with the other fitting, with at least one catch notch, arranged on a surface facing the catch body support. At least one catch body, loaded by a spring element, is arranged on the catch body support, such as to be able to engage with the surface of the catch element facing the catch body support. According to the invention, a door hinge in which the spring pressure acting on the catch body is essentially the same in all opening positions may be achieved, whereby the arrester comprises at least two spring loaded catch bodies and the spring element is supported at the end on two adjacent or opposing catch bodies, arranged on the catch body support.
