The invention relates to a method for treating of a soda-lime glass surface consisting of at least one stage for fluorinating said surface and a second stage for deposing at least one coating material layer for decorating or for packing chemically sensitive products. A glass product obtainable by said method and the use thereof for packing perfume and cosmetic products are also disclosed.
