Disclosed is an assembly for supplying a consumer with electric power of a power source. Said assembly comprises a textile, woven floor cover (101) with longitudinal warp threads and transversal weft threads. Three or more spaced-apart conductors (106) that run substantially parallel to each other are woven in as warp threads or weft threads, said conductors replacing part of a filling warp or binding warp or some of the weft threads. The inventive assembly further comprises a feeder for connecting the conductors (106) to the power source as well as a coupling device (130) for receiving electric power from the conductors (106) in the floor cover (101) and conveying the electric power on to the consumer when the coupling device (130) is brought into a power receiving zone of the floor cover (101). The coupling device (130) is especially configured such that electric power can be received inductively from the conductors (106) extending in the floor cover. The disclosed power supply assembly offers great flexibility and is easy to integrate in rooms.
