Use of at least one fatty acid ester of the formula (1) where R1 is the carbon radical of a saturated or unsaturated, branched or unbranched fatty acid, and R2 is optionally branched C1-C20-alkyl, optionally branched C1-C20-monohydroxyalkyl, optionally branched C2-C20-dihydroxyalkyl or optionally branched C3-C20-trihydroxyalkyl, for reducing the stickiness in cosmetic compositions for temporarily shaping keratin fibres.
