The invention relates to ceramic tiles or glass tiles that are coated on the back with a polymer film, wherein the coating is obtained by applying a homopolymer or copolymer in the form of its aqueous polymer dispersion or aqueous solution or aqueous redispersion of a polymer powder redispersed in water followed by drying, as well as their production and use for lining surfaces.
